Quality vs. Quantity #qualityvsquantity
I want to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone of you who has visited my photo blog for your love and support. I have always enjoyed taking pictures and uploading them as an art form because photography is a form of self-expression.
However, I need to vent about someone who has not been a fan of most of my pictures. Her name is Elizabeth (last name undisclosed), and she lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She and I first met in a photo-sharing game website called Pongr, we became really good friends. While I was a huge fan of her pictures, she was more of a critic than a fan of mine because what she saw when she looked at my photos was quality-lacking crap just because I had been using Android phones and she was an iPhone user. She was so increasingly pushy by telling me to “bump up the quality” and try to limit my amount of photos uploaded to five that she was trying to stop me from uploading a bunch of pictures so that I could beat her pointswise. While I appreciated her point of view, quantity was more important for me because I was playing mainly for points on Pongr. After the site shut down a year and a half ago, Elizabeth blocked me on Twitter and Instagram for no reason at all.
The sad part about all of this is that Elizabeth was one of my closest friends and favourite people on Pongr. Friends do not block each other on certain website or talk hurtfully about each other’s pictures, do they? Sure, I have teased her about her pictures quite a few times and even left heartfelt compliments on some of her photos, but it was just because I liked her. I doubt that she has ever liked me. She even said once that we were “too different,” but I never saw that because I can name a few things besides a love of photography that Elizabeth and I have in common, such as similar tastes in music (including New Kids On The Block), favourite brands like Wendy’s and Ben & Jerry’s, and faith in God.
Of course, I have already forgiven Elizabeth for the things that she said and did both online and off that I found to be deeply hurtful, but I think that what would be nice to me would be if she would forgive my mistakes, understand my shortcomings, and say something like, “Yeah, even though Benji hasn’t always produced the best pics I’ve ever seen, he’s a cool guy.”
Elizabeth, if you’re reading this, I want you to know that I wish no ill will upon you for everything that you said and did to me both on and off of Pongr, and I still have a lot of respect for you as a photographer and as a person.
Thanks for reading, everyone.

My New Phone — the LG Optimus F3
Hey, y’all! What’s up? Just a few words to let you know that my old phone has just messed up about two and a half weeks ago, so I decided to get another one. This one is an LG Optimus F3, and I love it already. It is better than all of the other phones that I have been using because it has better voice quality when you make an receive calls, because of its 4G data accessibility, and because it takes better pictures, too. I have just activated this baby and moved my Virgin Mobile service on it. Also, from some of the reviews that I have read and heard, it is better than the iPhone. (Sorry to my friends who are iPhone owners/users, but those are not necessarily my opinions.)
To summarise, if you want a phone that not only makes or receives clearer calls but also takes better quality pictures, then the LG Optimus F3 is for you. Even though I have been using it for almost a week, I would not recommend anything less. No doubt about that!
